• School Closed Thursday 23rd May 2019
  We have been advised by The Electoral Services Commission that the European Elections are to take place on Thursday 23rd May. As Bowker Vale Primary is an official polling station, the school will therefore be CLOSED to all pupils on this day.
• POLLING DAY - THURSDAY 2ND MAY
  Just a reminder that school is closed on Thursday 2nd May as it is polling day.
• PARKING RESTRICTIONS - A REMINDER
  Further to previous messages there are restrictions on the times that vehicles can gain access to the school. There is no vehicle access between 8.30 - 9am and 2.45 - 3.15pm daily. On school club nights there is no vehicle access between 3.30 and 4.05pm.
• Easter Holidays 2019
  Please accept our apologies that we published an incorrect date on our term date calendar. We return after the Easter holidays on Tuesday 23rd April 2019 (not Wednesday 24th April as originally published.) Thank you.

• School Closes at 1.30pm on Friday 21st December
  Please ensure that you pick up your children at 1.30pm on Friday 21st December. Also, as a reminder, Dragons After School Care Club will not be operating on Friday 21st December.

• 03.10.18- Running to raise money for our school
  On the 14th October Mrs Ashcroft is doing the Manchester half marathon to help raise funds towards our children's outdoor sports play area.
