Intended Outcomes
- Resources to be purchased to ensure pupils have access to a wide and varied choice of after school activities.
- Freddy Fit sessions will continue to enhance and enrich our PE curriculum. We will continue with 2 days next academic year. One session will be around throwing and catching using supportive and adaptable equipment. This was seen as an area of concern through discussions with staff.
- The school will be mapped before Spring, allowing for a festival around Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA) later in the year. This will include all pupils across the whole school.
- Through PE funding, PE leaders will be able to attend CPD training, which will then be filtered out to the rest of the staff during meetings. There will be a whole school inset day later in the school year to highlight the importance of OAA not just in PE, but across the curriculum as a whole.
- Lunchtimes will still benefit from specialist coaches to up-skill the pupils in a number of sport related activities. This will support the trend in the reduction of Lunchtime negative behaviour incidents, which continues to fall.
- We have plans to develop Sport Leaders in KS1 and KS2. This will involve them participating in training sessions and delivering sporting activities at Playtimes and Lunchtimes.
