Bowker Vale School Council
School Council, Year 6 and other local people from the community gathered together in Blackley Forest to remember those soldiers who have lost their lives. We lay our wreath on our Remembrance bench and did the 1 minute silence. Year 6 children read and shared their poems and the School Council ask questions and listens to interesting stories from the local people regarding the war.
Friendship Friday
Well done to all the children in the School Council for organising 'Friendship Friday'. It was a successful day, lots of children came to school dressed in clothes which
represent themselves. In the afternoon the children had a class swap, where the children talked about why and what they were wearing. Then they worked together to create paper gingerbread men, which will be displayed around school.
Children In Need
The School Council are proud of the £445. 92, the pupils at Bowker Vale have raised for Children in Need.
