World Book Day 2016
On Thursday 3rd March, all the children and staff at Bowker Vale Primary School celebrated World Book Day. Children thought about their favourite book and many of them dressed up as a character from a book. The children had a lot of fun parading around the hall in their costumes! Five children were given prizes for creative and imaginative costumes. Most importantly, we raised over £200 for Book Aid, a charity which gives books to children who do not have any.
