Ghyll Head 2019
Out for a walk and some climbing.
Fun on the lake.
We had a fantastic morning on lake Windermere. The children had to work as part of a team to row to different places. They were able to steer the motor boat and were then able to get very wet and jump in off the pier. They had a great time.
Ghyll Scrambling
This is an activity which involves climbing up a rocky, partly dry riverbed. It is great fun and takes lots of energy. You get the choice to stay dry or get wet. Most people get wet!
Zip wire and low ropes.
The children had an amazing time on the zip wire. It's not easy going up that incredibly high tower and then jumping off. The feeling as you slide through the air is just fantastic. They then had to use lots of balancing skills as they made their way around the different challenges on the low ropes course. Well done to everyone!
